A female contestant on Paula Abdul’s newest reality competition “Live to Dance” had a misstep during her performance and head planted hard on stage. The dancer had attempted a mid-air turn but miscalculated and landed head first on stage.
“I think I slammed my head,” the confused dancer said after her performance.
“I think you did. I think you did,” replied Abdul sounding concerned, but most likely worrying about getting sued or bad publicity.
“Yes, yes,” she replied, touching her forehead and a bruise the size of a golf ball. “I can’t even feel it right now.”
“Oh, trust me, you will later,” replied Abdul.
The dancer was taken backstage to see the medics after the performance but made it to the short list. I guess it all ended well… concussion aside.
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
