When you ask most people about their idea of the perfect table, they don’t usually come back to you with “Jellyfish” as an inspiration. Well, that’s why those people aren’t Daniela Forti. The Italian artist from Chianti, Tuscany likens her works to the sea-faring invertebrates because of the long, flowing tentacles she creates by hand through a melted glass fusion process. The result are one of a kind creations that seem to defy physics as they give the impression of large table tops being supported by the thinnest threads of glass.
