Dave Pollot’s ‘Passengers’ Show at Gallery 1988 Brings Classic Pop Culture Rides Into Fine Art

Art Galleries are closed right now, but the art they were planning to show offer in exhibits are still viewable. If Gallery 1988 was open, they’d be getting ready to wrap-up the new show from artist Dave Pollot, Passengers.

In the new art show, Pollot takes iconic vehicles from movies, TV, and video games and transports them into classically painted works. The vehicles featured in the new show include Scooby Doo’s Msytery Machine, Futurama’s Planet Express, Batman’s Batmobile, Star Wars’ Tie Fighter, Ghostbusters’ Ecto-1, Mario Kart’s… Karts, Flintsontes’s Family Car, The Ford Explorer from Jurassic Park, and Doctor Who’s TARDIS. Check them all out below and visit Gallery 1988 for more amazingly geeky art.
