One of the most popular Japanese sweets is Mitarashi dango. It’s a bite-sized dumpling, similar to mochi, that is made with sticky rice flour, glazed, and served on a stick. But, if you think the internet is going to let something popular just stay a plain old ball, you’ve got another thing coming! A couple of Japanese Twitter users have given the traditional snack a make over in honor of one of Asia’s most famous dogs, the Shiba Inu, or more specifically, their asses.
