Everyone’s favorite midget like cheerleader Hayden Panettiere recently admits that Claire Bennett’s on screen lesbian kiss in this season of “Heroes” was actually her idea.
Panettiere, who plays Claire, says that when she overheard producers considering a relationship for her, she thought why not spice it up a bit. “I kinda threw it out there,” she explains. “They (writers) put you in relationships and I was like, ‘Can I just be with a girl or something? Let’s do that.”
“So they took it and ran with it. She’s a great girl… and we have a blast,” she said of her co-star Madeline Zima who shared the onscreen lesbian kiss with Panettiere.
