Let’s face it, as much as we love the classic Disney films of our childhood, they do create a standard of romance and reality that just wouldn’t fly in 2017. UK artist, Tom Ward feels the same way, so he’s created a new series of illustrations that he calls “Alt Disney.” The images take iconic characters from movies like Aladdin, Dumbo, The Little Mermaid, Winnie The Pooh, Lion King, Sword In The Stone, and tie them to commentary on modern day issues like water pollution, animal abuse, and our rampant obsession with technology.
