We were blown away when we first saw the Star Wars insects of Richard Wilkinson. So, when we saw that the artist was back with new illustrations combining insects with both horror movie characters and some of the character of Studio Ghibli, we had to take a minute and drool at the amazing artwork.
The new illustrations take characters like Freddy, Jason, Michael Meyers, Pennywise, Frankenstein and others, as well as Totoro and No-Face and turn them into hyper-realistic anatomical insect drawings like you’d see in a 19th-century scientific reference book.
