It’s Hard To Believe These Globs of Wet Paint Are Actually Pencil Drawings

The photo realism that people are able to achieve with colored pencils is something to behold, especially when you are a talented artist like Australia’s Cj Hendry. She’s gone completely meta when it comes to optical illusions in art. Not only is she using colored pencils to create a photo realistic illustration, but the subject of her art is another medium for art, oil paint. The images are part of her new series called, Complimentary Colors. Amazingly, this is also one of Hendry’s first forays beyond drawing in black and white and into the world of color.
