Jonathan Koshi Brings A Little Geekiness Into Dia De Los Muertos

With Halloween just days away, it’s time to look to the day after, Dia De Lost Muertos and embrace these geeky interpretations of Sugar Skulls from artist Jonathan Koshi. While Sugar Skulls have always been popular, they’ve reached a new level of pop culture significance in recent years, thanks to films like Guillermo Del Toro’s Book of Life, and Pixar’s upcoming Coco. Some of the inspirations for Koshi’s skulls include Super Mario Bros, Xenomorphs, Ultra Man, LEGO, and Kermit The Frog.
