When I was little, I loved the hidden picture page in Highlights magazine. This seems about as close as I’m going to get to it as a grown up. It’s called the Raid and it is by Josan Gonzalez and Laurie Greasley. You can see it in person at the Sci-Scapes artist showcase at the Hero Complex Gallery in Los Angeles.
While the show features amazing art from a slew of artists that includes: Laurie Greasley, Tim Doyle, Joshua Budich, Timothy Anderson and Josan Gonzalez, there was something special about this one that warranted special attention. Amidst the action of this massive image, there are wonderfully geeky Easter eggs hidden for you to enjoy. Some of them include Stranger Things, Total Recall, and Princess Mononoke.
