McDonald’s Learns Why You Don’t Ask The Internet To Invent New Burgers

When Lay’s does their annual competition to come up with new flavors, they always get some very “internetty” suggestions. Some of the best of the worst include flavors like Unicorn Meat, Haggis & Watermelon, and Benedict Cumberbatch. The difference between them and McDonalds is that Lays keeps all of their jokes on the package. When McDonalds recently asked fans to go online and invent a burger, they were given a chance to actually show what the burger would look like in terms of actual food from the Golden Arches. Now that suggestions like the “Thin Privilege,” “The Quarterpoundmyangus,” and “Rektal Prolapse” burgers have gone viral, they might want to rethink their plans.
