When I was a kid, we used to do this trick where you could run a current through a pickle and make it light up. This looks much tastier. After all, there are few things that can lighten your spirit than a warm piece of bread, fresh from the oven. Perhaps that was the inspiration for Japanese artist Yukiko Morita. How else could you explain this series of lamps that are made with real bread (and lit with LEDs)
