Shy? Try Wearing Knitted Food Hats as an Icebreaker

It sucks being shy. Just ask Aussie artist Phil Ferguson. In fact, he was having so much trouble meeting people when he moved to a new city that even eventually turned to the idea of crocheting one-of-a-kind foodie hats as conversation pieces.

He got the idea from working around food at a burger shop. Each one takes around 3 months to create and range from the simple avocado to complex designs like burgers and pizzas.
