OK. I know Pop Tarts are popular. What I don’t know is why. They are disgusting. They taste like sweet, soggy cardboard with artificially flavored sugar inside. Yet, for some reason, people still think they are a great way to start the day.
The toaster pasty (which seems to almost always get eaten before it makes it into the toaster) has just upped the anty on their mission to give the world some sort of chemically enhanced super diabetes. They’ve released some pretty awful sounding flavors in the past, but now they’ve outdone themselves by unveiling two new offerings, both based on popular sodas. That’s right, you’ll now be able to choke down what I’ll refer to as “biscuits of nastiness” in A&W Root Beer and Orange Crush flavors. Now, excuse me while I try not to puke on my keyboard.
