Starry Starry Geek – The Van Gogh Inspired Artwork of Aja

When New York Artis, Aja painted a picture of the Eiffel Tower in the style of Vincent Van Gogh’s Starry Starry Night, it started a mini-scandal on the internet as many came to believe that they were seeing an actual painting by the long-dead artist. Since then, Aja jas continued to focus on work that is inspired by Van Gogh, but much of her new work also pays tribute to all things geeky (she also does a lot of great paintings of dogs, but that’s a post for another day). Some of her artwork includes nods to Star Wars, My Neighbor Totoro, The Last Unicorn, Pokemon, Lord of The Rings, Harry Potter, and others!
