It’s time for the second installment of Stop Motion Mondays where we find some excellent stop motion animation based around a particular set of characters and bring them to you. Today we found a few great clips of stop motion animation based around the characters of Hayao Miyazaki.
The majority of today’s videos come from YouTube animator, The Animist. They’ve created excellent animations based on Miyazaki characters from My Neighbor Totoro, Laputa Castle in the Sky, and Detective Conan. Then, as a little bonus, we’ve thrown in the down-right disturbing Totoro weight-loss sketch from Robot Chicken.
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
