Super A Traps Humans and Animals Inside Their Pop Culture Counter Parts

A couple days ago, I noticed a strange statue of a clown inside of a spiral that looked like Ronald McDonald. It was a really interesting image, but I kept scrolling and my day went on as normal. It turns out that the piece wasn’t a stand alone, but part of a new series of paintings and sculptures by Netherlands artist, Super A.

The series, which is called “Trapped” is meant to address our skewed perception of reality by showing us realized versions of Mickey Mouse, Snow White, Ronald McDonald and others trapped in their cartoonish facades.

You can check out more of Super A’s work HERE.
