Takayas Custom Jewelry is one of the most creative and fun jewelers out there. I’m not just saying that because they did my fiance’s Darth Vader Light Saber engagement ring, but because they have a knack for capturing the beauty in some of the world’s geekiest things, and turning them into stunning pieces of wearable art.
When a couple who had previously worked with them to design custom wedding rings based off of Pokemon’s Mew and The Legend of Zelda about creating another piece of Pokemon inspired jewelry, they created a stunning, 14K gold and yellow sapphire Pikachu inspired bracelet. They even managed to recreate Pikachu in the classic 8-bit style of the original game that she had grown up playing.
The charms in the bracelet are adorned with 0.9 mm yellow sapphires for Pikachu’s body, black spinel for the eyes, rubies to accent his cheeks, and garnets for his brown stripes.
