White Castle, home of the burgers loved by anyone drunk or stoned at three AM can now add vegans to their list of fans. The burger chain has now announced that they’ll be carrying new sliders made from the popular new meatless patty called the Impossible Burger. The new sliders are set to be one of the most expensive items on the menu, at $1.99 per sandwich, but it’s great to see the option available for those interested in a meatless burger.
Unlike other veggie burgers, the Impossible Burger has become famous for being the first one that allegedly looks, smells, and even bleeds like a real beef burger. The new slider will come with smoked cheddar cheese, pickles and onions on the chain’s classic bun. If you are vegan, you can probably ask them to hold the cheese. That said, if you are vegan, you probably won’t be in a White Castle any time soon.
