The Weird And Wonderful World of Soviet Era Star Wars Posters

There are few images more iconic in western pop culture than those of Star Wars, but it turns out that the marketing for the film looked just a bit different in Soviet Era Europe. In some countries, the films were released a couple years later, and in others (like the Soviet Union) the film was banned and only released as a bootleg. One thing is for sure, artists like Tibor Helényi, András Felvidéki, Yuri Bokser and Alexander Chantsev, Jakub Erol, Miroslaw Lakomski, and Witold Dybowski are going to change the way you look at Star Wars forever.
