Everything inside Disney’s Galaxy’s Edge Theme Parks has to look like it belongs in the Star Wars universe. That’s why the Coca-Cola products don’t look like normal sodas. Instead, they look like thermal detonators. While this is cool for fans (not sure if it’s $6 cool…), it is apparently not so cool for the TSA.
Several news outlets are all reporting that the Transportation Security Administration has deemed the little soda bottle too similar to the shape of actual explosives and therefore are not allowed in carry-on or checked baggage.
This might be bad news for tourists, but it could be great news for locals who want to make a couple bucks on eBay where currently the bottles are selling for between $10-$15 each, empty. Not bad for something you were probably going to toss in the garbage after drinking.
