Ever wondered what your favorite characters from Miyazaki films were real? Well, Andrew Michael Golden took the idea one step further and created a bunch of new images that give his realistic take on the characters of My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Monononke, Ponyo, Howl’s Moving Castle, Nausicaa Valley of The Wind and others. While some of the characters are able to maintain their cuteness, and some even become quite distinguished looking, there are a few that are truly the stuff of nightmares.
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
