This post is for the all guys and the occasional lesbians who grew up with a crush on Danica McKellar who played Winnie Cooper, the object of Kevin Arnold’s desire, from the hit TV show “The Wonder Years,” which ran for six seasons during the late 80s and early 90s.
McKellar who has since left show business is now an author and a mathematician, and recently wed one very lucky composer, Mike Verta.
The nuptials occurred this pass weekend and according to E! Online, Fred Savage was one of the few who did not attend. Although his TV parents, Dan Lauria and Alley Mills were present. Word is also currently out regarding Josh Saviano who played Kevin’s friend Paul Pfeiffer.
Despite going off air since 1993, “The Wonder Years” has now transcended into cult statue with legions of nostalgic gen-x followers. Many of whom are most likely sadden by the news of McKellar’s marriage.
