There’s been plenty of rumors on who would be playing Domino in the upcoming Deadpool sequel, but now the rumor mill can stop. Fox has found its Domino. News came in just the last couple of hours, when Ryan Reynolds took to Twitter for the announcement.
One interesting thing to note here is that there’s a good chance Beetz has Star Wars to thank, at least in part, for help in getting the role. When her Atlanta Co-Star, Donald Glover was cast as a young Lando Calrissian in the upcoming Han Solo film, the second season of their show was delayed until 2018. This opened up a window in Zazie’s schedule which has now been filled by one of the most anticipated hero roles in FOX’s new Mutant universe (or would that be New Mutant universe?).
We’re still waiting to hear who they’ll be casting as Cable, but most people seem to think that it’s likely to be either Stephen Lang or Stranger Things’ David Harbor.
