Deadline is reporting that BBC America’s TV movie about the origin of the Doctor Who TV series is set to begin filming in February. They also have announced the cast of the show.

David Bradley will play the first ever Doctor, William Hartnell.
Brian Cox is BBC drama head Sydney Newman
Jessica Raine is producer Verity Lambert
Sacha Dhawan is Waris Hussein, director of the first ever episode.
