25 Years After Blade Runner, Ridley Scott Returns To Philip K. Dick

“Blade Runner” is considered by many to be one of the greatest sci fi movies ever made. The combination of Ridley Scott and philip K Dick made for some truly amazing storytelling. Well, it may have taken a quarter century, but Scott is returning to Dick’s material for a new project.

Scott will be producing a four hour miniseries adaptation of “The Man In The High Castle” for the BBC. Penning the script will be Howard Brenton who has wowed British audiences in the popular series “MI-5”. The good news is that there are already plans to sell the series overseas. That means you’ll probably see it on AMC or HBO. I sure as hell don’t see G4 ponying up the cash for that kind of project.

The plot of the story revolves around an alternate history where the Axis won WWII.

If you are still hungry for dick… Philip K, you pervert, here are some other projects that are in the works based off his projects:

– Total Recall – Yup another reboot
– King of the Elves – Disney
– Adjustment Bureau – Coming out in March with Matt Damon and Emily Blunt.
