We’ve reported extensively on Adi Shankar’s Bootleg Universe over the years. He started with his Punisher film, Dirty Laundry, which starred Thomas Jane. Then he moved on to a film about Venom, starring Ryan Kwanten. Now, he’s released a Power Rangers film that stars both Katee Sackoff and James Van Der Beek and it might be his best one to date.
The dark take on the classic kid’s show takes place years after the original series and it shows the fate of all the original Rangers. Sadly, there’s no Zordon. Regardless, you need to take a few minutes to check this out.
