This is some sad news for fans of Adventure Time. Personally, I’m a big fan of the show, hell, I even published a cookbook on the show called Eating Ooo. You can buy it on Amazon. So, as you can imagine, today’s news is extra sad for me.
It was just announced that it’s time to say goodbye to Jake, Finn, Princess Bubblegum, BMO, Marceline, Lumpy Space Princess, the Ice King, Peppermint Butler and everyone else. The show will be ending it’s run on Cartoon Network in 2018. The good news is that it’s not just disappearing instantly. Before it ends, we’ll have multiple specials, miniseries, and the full 9th season.
While it is a bummer, I can understand why it’s happening. For the last year, the show has been airing new episodes pretty sporadically, and new episodes were relegated to Saturday nights. It was starting to feel like the Firefly of the Cartoon Network.
