If you thought Darkseid was the only big bad that the heroes would be facing in DC’s upcoming Justice League film, you were wrong! Just a few minutes ago, Ben Affleck took to Twitter to show off another villain who would be causing havoc for everyone. none other than Deathstroke!
The reveal came in a video that Affleck posted and is already spreading like wildefire around the net. Personally, I’m a fan of Deathstroke, but I’m curious to see how he’ll fit into the bigger story that they seem to be building towards. I would be sad if he ends up as a relatively marginalized character, the way that Crossbones was used in Captain America: Civil War. My favorite non-comic iteration of the character was his arc in the original Teen Titans cartoon, as a nemesis for Robin.
We still have no idea who is playing the role of Slade Wilson, but we at least now have a first look at the character in full costume, as seen through the camera monitor on set by Affleck himself.
