During today’s Investor talk from Disney, Kathleen Kennedy popped up on screen. No, she wasn’t announcing that she’d be retiring from Star Wars and that Jon Favreau would be taking her place. Instead, she announced two new spin-offs that would be peeling off from the popular Disney+ series, The Mandalorian.
The two new series, one of which will be ready to hit the streamer by next Christmas are the previously rumored Ahsoka Tano spin-off starring Rosario Dawson, and “Rangers of The New Republic.” While no details have been given about either series, we have a little bit of a hunch that the latter could see a new team led by Gina Carano’s Cara Dune and Timothy Oliphant’s Cobb Vanth.
