THR is reporting that Tyler Labine and Alan Tudyk are starring in “Tucker and Dale vs. Evil,” a new indie horror comedy from director by Eli Craig.
Labine stars as Dale alongside Tudyk as Tucker, two good-natured hillbillies mistakenly accused of being psycho killers by a group of college kids camping at the same lake where the hillbillies have just acquired a dilapidated cabin as their “summer home.” Katrina Bowen of “30 Rock” also stars.
This is an exciting pairing of actors for me. Alan Tudyk is always awesome! Even going back to his role in 28 Days with Sandra Bullock, he’s always fun. Most people seem to know him for Firefly/Serenity or his new role as Alpha on Dollhouse, but if you want to see a really great role for him, check out “Death At A Funeral”, the original one from a few years ago, not the remake that is being done poorly and way too early. I’ve also come to be a big fan of Tyler Labine for his work as “Sock” on Reaper. Man… I’m gonna miss that show.
