Alden Ehrenreich To Star In Aldus Huxley’s ‘Brave New World’ TV Series

Alden Ehrenreich, star of Solo: A Star Wars Story is making a hyperspace jump from the big screen to the small screen as the star of a new series based on Aldus Huxley’s ‘Brave New World.’ The show, which was initially developed for air on Syfy has shifted to the USA Network with a straight-to-series pickup. It is set to air on the network in 2020 and should be right in line with other USA series like Mr Robot and Colony.

The new series is written by David Wiener (Homecoming), Grant Morrison (Happy!), and Brian Taylor (Mom and Dad), and is based on the classic novel by Huxley.

If you haven’t read it, here is the synopsis from Wikipedia:
Brave New World is a dystopian novel written in 1931 by English author Aldous Huxley, and published in 1932. Largely set in a futuristic World State of genetically modified citizens and an intelligence-based social hierarchy, the novel anticipates huge scientific developments in reproductive technology, sleep-learning, psychological manipulation, and classical conditioning that are combined to make a utopian society that goes challenged only by a single outsider. Huxley followed this book with a reassessment in an essay, Brave New World Revisited (1958), and with Island (1962), his final novel.
