According to Variety, Alex Proyas, the man behind Dark City, The Crow and I Robot is getting ready to bring the poetry of John Milton to a big screen near you.
Proyas has just signed on to direct an epic adaptation of Milton’s “Paradise Lost.” If you are unfamiliar with the story, it is about the battle that takes place in heaven between Michael and Lucifer.
That means that you can probably expect lots of mid-air angel combat… most likely in 3D.
“Dark City” is still one of my favorite movies, regardless of the fact that Jennifer Connelly looked like she had a mustache for half the film. I didn’t really care for I Robot, but the movie did have a great look to it. I can’t wait to see what he can do with a war of the angels.
