Andy Serkis is a great actor, but most people will never know him by his face. He is the king of MO CAP. He’s been everyone from Gollum and King Kong to Cesar from Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Word has now come down that he’ll returning to his primate performance with at least one Planet of The Apes sequel.
He won’t be the only one returning to the franchise. Director Rupert Wyatt will also be returning.
One of the best bits of news though is actually something that doesn’t happen on the big screen. Fox believes so strongly in Serkis’ performance that they are going to be actively campaigning for him to get the best actor Oscar. You can’t deny that he deserves it. Could you imagine George Clooney every being able to pull off a performance like Cesar?
