They are calling it Shaun of the Dead Meets La La Land, but Anna and the Apocalypse looks like it might be something closer to Dawn of the Dead Meets Dr. Horrible. Either way, it will probably be the most original holiday film to hit theaters in recent years. it’s also an interesting bit of counter-programming to Disney’s Nutcracker and the Four Realms.
