If you saw last night’s episode of The Arrow on The CW, than you already know that Ollie is taking a step back from the hood and he’s passing the gig onto someone who may or may not have what it takes to get the job done. We’ve got to guess that this is going to be a short lived change, but it is a significant one when it comes to John Diggle’s current (secret) degenerative nerve damage. If I had to guess, we’ll probably end up seeing some sort of story about him using a drug to help mask the symptoms of his condition that will either end to an addiction story line or possibly some sort of medical crisis when he pushes himself too far.
The episode will also feature an appearance by the DC character, Onyx:
DC CHARACTER ONYX VISITS STAR CITY — A rogue black ops team led by Onyx (guest star Chastity Dotson) breaks into Kord Industries and steals something lethal. Oliver (Stephen Amell) struggles to connect with William (guest star Jack Moore) so he reaches out to a surprising source for help. Kevin Tancharoen directed the episode written by Speed Weed & Oscar Balderrama (#603).
The Arrow airs on CW, Thursday Nights at 9 PM.
Superman is currently scheduled for release on July 11, 2025
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
