While everyone is waiting with bated breath for the reveal of Avengers 4’s full title and first trailer, there’s a whole book that just came out that takes place between the events of Infinity War and the new film. The book is from Brandon T. Snider, and it is called Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War: The Cosmic Quest, Vol. 2: Aftermath. Earlier today, the author shared the book cover on Twitter and managed to reveal some very interesting details about what’s going on in the MCU between movies.
The biggest reveal is that both Dr. Erik Selvig and Darcy Lewis survived Thanos’ “snap,” and are working hard to try and figure out what happened while the rest of the world is left “reeling in despair and confusion”
The book cover also mentions this ominous fact:
“little do they know that a new foe who threatens to destroy them all is looming…”
Does this mean that the rumors of the Ahnhillous wave are true and the Fantastic Four villain will be making his way to the MCU? We’ll get our first hint sometime in the next month- 45 days when we eventually get a trailer and title for the movie.
