It is not uncommon for movies to go back for some re-shoots. Heck, the second GI Joe movie and World War Z had to do so many that the movie was delayed by almost a year. That isn’t the case for The Avengers Age of Ultron, but it is now being reported that Robert Downey jr, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Paul Bettany, Scarlett Johansson, and Tom Hiddleston have all been called in for re-shoots in January. The goal is not to make major changes, but to punch up some of the action.
Interestingly, Chris Evans is not on the list of stars needed for possible reshoots.
Avengers: Age of Ultron opens in 3D on May 1, 2015, and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, James Spader, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Paul Bettany, Don Cheadle, Andy Serkis and Samuel L. Jackson.
