Baby Yoda and The Mandalorian are two of the best things to happen to Star Wars in a while, but the super adorable puppet of unknown origin almost ended up a lot less adorable. In one of the latest episodes of Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian, Jon Favreau shared some concept art for Baby Yoda that could have taken the child in a whole new direction.
“[Everything] was about the eyes looking at you and about the ears moving was something I had wanted to try and we got lots and lots of drawings. Some of them were too cute, some too ugly, some were the wrong proportions.”
