If you’ve ever wanted to see Batman and Superman’s costumes set to dramatic music, have we got a treat for you! On Monday, several Imax theaters around the country will be hosting a short presentation that includes the first full trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Here’s the link to sign up for the event. However, if you are in states like New York, Massachusetts, Florida, or Kansas (Superman’s home town!), then you are out of luck and will just have to catch the trailer when it hits the internet.
It’s an interesting move from Warner Bros. It doesn’t make a lot of sense to do this now when you could wait three weeks and not have to compete with marketing for Avengers: Age of Ultron. However, if you wanted to fire a shot across Marvel/ Disney’s bow… this would be the way to do it.
Here’s the announcement vid:
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Jesse Eisenberg, Gal Gadot, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter, Scoot McNairy, and Jason Momoa and opens in theaters on March 25, 2016.
