Season 2 of The CW’s Batwoman had to fill pretty significant shoes when Ruby Rose opted out of continuing on with the series. Instead of just recasting her, they’ve brought in Javicia Leslie aka Ryan Wilder to become the next Batwoman and we just got our first look at her in action.
The new teaser for the second season, which premiers on January 17th, will tell the origin tale of how she gets the Batwoman costume and decides to take up the mantle the hero. From the few seconds that we saw, it definitely looks like This newest version will be having more fun in the role as Ryan Wilder than Kate Kane ever did.
