BBC’s ‘Sherlock’ Being Re-Imagined As Japanese Manga

Fans of BBC’s “Sherlock” will certainly have more to geek out about soon as a manga adaptation of the hit series is slated to debut in the October 10th issue of Kadokawa’s “Young Ace.”

The artist “Jay.” is launching the manga with an adaptation of “A Study in Pink,” the show’s first episode which was penned by “Doctor Who” scribes Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss.

This wouldn’t be the first time the detective duo has inspired manga spinoffs. Cumberbatch himself has discussed all the dōjinshi (homosexual) manga and fan fiction that his character’s relationship with Watson has inspired.

There has been two seasons of three 90-minute episodes, with plans for a third season. For fans of the show, this may just have to hold you until then.
