Memorial Day weekend is the official opening of the Summer movie season and from the flicks that have already hit the big screen you can tell that this year is going to be big one. It isn’t even June but films like Wolverine, Angels and Demons, and Star Trek have already been keeping fans in the seats for a couple weeks. Now, as the official season opens, Terminator Salvation and Night At The Museum 2 both opened up. Who would have thought that out of the two, it would be the Ben Stiller comedy that took the prize at the Box Office. In a surprise upset, Museum took in $53 million dollars while Terminator took in only $43 million. Perhaps it was that Museum was a more family friendly flick, or maybe it was that fans were fearing the worst about Terminator and just didn’t want to dive in hard on opening weekend. Either way, somewhere Satan is laughing and preparing a special place in Hell for when he can collect on the the contract that he’s got with Stiller.
