The list started out pretty long, but when all was said and done, the producers decided to stake James D’Arcy, Adrien Brody, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Josh Lucas, and Timothy Olyphant and go for Ben Walker to take the lead role in the 3D film adaptation of Seth Graham-Smith’s ‘Abraham Lincoln: Vampire hunter.’

Who knows why director Timur Bekmambetov (‘Wanted’)chose Walker over the other choices. One big thing might be that he’s already got some presidential experience under his belt. He recently starred as President Andrew Jackson in the emo rock opera ‘Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson’.
