‘Birds Of Prey’ Looking At Big Names For Black Mask

Yesterday, it was announced that Mary Elizabeth Winstead was cast as Huntress, and Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary in the upcoming Birds of Prey film with Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn. Variety has since updated their report to talk about the film’s Antagonist. According to Variety’s Justin Kroll, the part of Black Mask was initially offered to Sam Rockwell, but he turned it down. Now, Warner Bros is looking at a list of actors that includes both Ewan McGregor and Sharlto Copley to go up against the women who must protect Gotham in the absence of Batman.

Birds of Prey hits theaters on February 7th, 2020.
