Wow, Harley has really bad taste in men.
After watching the first trailer for Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Miss Harley Quinn, we’re kind of left wondering why it isn’t just called the Harley Quinn movie, or Harley Quinn and the Birds of Prey. After all, Margot Robbie’s break out character from the first Suicide Squad film is in 90% of the footage revealed in the trailer. While she’s joined by her castmates here and there, the only other person to get significant time is Ewan McGregor’s Black Mask.
We get it, the studio wants to lean heavy on Harley when it comes to the marketing. She’s the character everyone knows best, but there’s a great cast in this film including Jurnee Smollett-Bell‘s Black Canary, Mary Elizabeth Winstead‘s Helena Bertinelli, aka Huntress, Ella Jay Basco‘s Cassandra Cain, Rosie Perez‘s Gotham City detective Renee Montoya, and Chris Messina‘s baddie Victor Zsasz.
