If you haven’t watched Bojack Horseman on Netflix, you are missing one of the best comedies and dramas that are currently on TV. On the surface, the show looks like just a wacky comedy about people and animals living together. Once you get into the story, however, you realize that you are in one of the most emotionally deep and introspective series on TV. Today we got some great news about the fate of the show as Netflix just announced that it will be coming back for a sixth season.
There’s no word on whether the new season will be the show’s last, but it feels like the story could be working towards a conclusion relatively soon. One thing is for sure. The show has continued to grow more brave about what they are willing to do with the expectations of the animated format. There was actually one episode this past season that was literally just a 30-minute monologue of Bojack giving his mother’s Eulogy. Yeah, this is not your average cartoon.
Bojack Horseman can be streamed on Netflix and features the voice talents of Will Arnett, Paul F. Tompkins , Alison Brie, Amy Sedaris, and Aaron Paul.
