Bones has always been a favorite series here at YBMW, despite the soap opera ending to last season involving Booth waking up from surgery with amnesia… seriously?
Well, the new season is getting ready to begin on September 17th and this year, there will be a a guest appearance that fans have been clamoring for for years. According to EW, Zooey Deschanel, real life sister of Bones Star Emily Deschanel will be a guest star on the show during december.
“We’ve been looking for an opportunity to get the Deschanel girls together,” notes exec producer Hart Hanson, “but Zooey’s rockin’ career kept getting in the way.”
Zooey will be playing a long lost cousin of Dr. Brennan from Minnesota.
If you can’t quite place where you recognize Zooey, the best place to look is on the big screen with summer where she is starring in “500 days of Summer.”
