The other day, the Trask-Industries site was updated with a ton of new info about the Sentinel program that is set to be a central part of Bryan Singer’s X-Men sequel, X-Men: Days of Future Past. One of the interesting bits released on the site was the size of the Sentinels. They clock in at just about 18 feet tall.
Singer has now come out with a new, behind the scenes image from the movie that is making fans of practical movie effects very happy. Instead of just going with CGI, as is most commonly done nowadays, it looks like they have actually built some full sized-Sentinels for use in the film!
X-Men: Days of Future Past is set for a May 23, 2014 release and stars Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy, Halle Berry, Daniel Cudmore, Fan Bingbing, Boo Boo Stewart, Adan Canto, Evan Peters, Josh Helman and Lucas Till.
