Bryan Singer has had a couple of shaky years. Not only has he come up in several allegations regarding Hollywood elite and the grooming of underage males, but the X-Men director was also fired not showing up to work on the set of the upcoming Freddie Mercury biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody. Now, THR is reporting that the director is in talks to helm the new adaptation of Red Sonja.
The last time the Conan spin-off was adapted to for the big screen was back in 1985 in a film that starred Brigitte Nielsen and Arnold Schwarzenegger. There had been an attempt to reboot the franchise as recently as 2008 when director Robert Rodriguez set out to make the film with Rose McGowan in the title role, but that never came together.
